I want you to take that bad situation and try to find the good in it. You may have to look long and deep but when I tell you to be thankful in everything, I give you the means to do it. No, not every situation is good, but through it you can learn and grow and develop a thankful heart. What could be worse than being crucified as a sinless person? Jesus is your example. He endured the cross with joy because He knew the final outcome. You can do this!
Hebrews 12:1-3 (NIV) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” ----- Check out the book Generations: Passing on Your Spiritual Inheritance by Robin Robinson Bohlin.
