Once you have developed a true heart of Thanksgiving, this becomes your shield against an onslaught of attacks. You, having developed this Lifestyle of Thanksgiving, will be in the center of My will. For when you can become thankful for ALL THINGS, knowing that I am working it all for your good, glory emerges in the midst of tragedy. A thankful heart will always triumph because the shield of faith is working in your life. Be thankful and THRIVE!
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NASB1995) “in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 5:20 (KJ21) “giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” ------ Check out the book Generations: Passing on Your Spiritual Inheritance by Robin Robinson Bohlin. Get ready for the bumpy ride ahead. Through the end of this year and into the next, the road will appear to be rocky with obstacles that will need good shock absorbers! Just because the road is rocky, doesn’t mean that it is treacherous to you. Know and prepare your hearts for some challenges and that way when the rough patches come, you aren’t caught off guard. I will guide you all the way to safety.
James 1:2-4 (TLB) “Dear brothers, is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.” ------ Check out the book Generations: Passing on Your Spiritual Inheritance by Robin Robinson Bohlin. What will your decision look like in five minutes, five months and five years? Remember that with every action there is a reaction and with every seed sown there is a harvest. You will experience the results of your decision good or bad. Keep your emotions in check and seek Me.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (TPT) “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.” This is for those who do not feel special. I want you to know how very valuable you are. The enemy of your soul has been sneaking around stealing your joy, stealing your spark. Don’t listen to his lies – he means for your destruction. Don’t be sucked into his game. He is in a war for your soul and you don’t need to give him the upper hand. Look to me for your identity.
1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) “But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.” I want you to understand that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I want you to bloom where you are planted. You will grow once you decide to put down roots. Once this happens you will not feel the need to always be moving from place to place. You will find that your happiness has been here all along. Stop seeking another avenue for contentment. The joy place has been established right where you are.
1 Timothy 6:6 (NLT) “Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.” March 13, 2020. I say to you today - incline your ear to Me. You have let fear and trepidation settle into your mind. Refuse what the devil would cast as pandemic or catastrophic. Has this world not been established for thousands of years? Has My protection not been sufficient? Refuse the common tabloids and news outlets. Settle into My peace which passes all your natural understanding. Jesus showed no fear as He ministered to the crowds.
John 14:27 (NASB) "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." Robin Robinson Bohlin |
